Cover Florida

On Jan. 5, 2009, Cover Florida was launched to provide health care coverage option to low income individuals and families. To qualify for this program, Floridians must be 19 to 64 years of age. At the same time, the consumers should have been without insurance for at least six months and be ineligible for Medicare or Medicaid coverage.

Florida Kidcare

For children in Florida, Kidcare program provides healthcare coverage. The plan originally covered only the children of low income families but now any Floridian can obtain coverage for anyone 18 or younger through Florida Kidcare.
